Almost there!
Only two more days of work. I will be cruising to France with my girlfriend this Monday. Can’t wait really!

Mutt!
As my new computer will arrive coming week, I decided to look for a desktop application for reading my e-mail. Up until now, I’ve been reading my e-mail in the online webapp which is provided with my Gmail acount. I think it should be easier for me to check my e-mail. I’m sick of logging in every single time (as I don’t like letting my browser remember my passwords).
In my search I came across the dutch linux website called NedLinux. I remembered I had an account there, logged in and launched some search queries. After reading some topics about popular desktop apps and mail clients, I decided to give Mutt a try. Read the rest of this entry »
Gear has been ordered
I’ve made my choice. I’ve been playing a bit with Steph’s Mac and it occured to me that I’m a larger controlfreak then I thought I was. And above all: I’m now saving loads of money and will have a speedy pc which (hopefully) will stay with me for quite some years.
The specs:
- P5E-V HDMI (motherboard)
- Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 (processor)
- 8GB DDR2-800 (internal memory)
- 250GB SATA2 7200 (harddisk)
The motherboard has an integrated video-card, which is fine by me as the specs of the onboard card are better then my current videocard (omg…).Hope it will be delivered before I’m on holiday :). What I like about the shop I bought it from: they deliver their systems with Linux only…
